Country Roasted Chicken Dinner

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pack Lipton Recipe Secrets Savory Herb
  2. 1 pack Garlic Soup mix
  3. 2 tablespoons honey
  4. 1 tablespoon water
  5. 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
  6. 5-6 lb. roasting chicken
  7. 3 lbs. white or sweet potatoes, cut into chunks
Directions:

In a small bowl, blend savory herb with garlic soup mix, honey, water and butter.

In 18x12 inch roasting pan, arrange chicken, breast side up. Brush with soup mixture. Cover loosely with aluminum foil. Roast 30 minutes; drain.

Arrange potatoes around chicken and continue roasting covered, stirring potatoes occasionally, 1 hour or until meat thermometer reaches 170 F. and potatoes are tender.
