Hazelnut Crinkles

Ingredients:

  1. 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  2. 3/4 cup hazelnut spread with cocoa
  3. 1/2 cup butter, softened
  4. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  5. 1 egg
  6. 1- 3/4 cup flour
  7. 1 teaspoon baking soda
  8. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  9. 3 tablespoons white course sugar crystals, for decorating
Directions:

Beat sugar, hazelnut spread, butter, vanilla and egg in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed.

Stir in flour, baking soda and salt.

Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into 1-inch balls. Roll in sugar crystals.

Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 7-9 minutes at 375 F. until puffed and edges are set.

Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute before removing to wire racks to cool.
