Steak Jamaican

A Healthy* recipe

Ingredients:

  1. 6 Tablespoons honey
  2. 1/3 cup lime juice
  3. 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  4. 2 Tablespoons prepared mustard
  5. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  6. 1 teaspoon grated lime peel
  7. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  8. 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  9. 2 pounds lean top round steak
  10. Lime wedges
Directions:

Combine honey, mustard, oil, lime juice, garlic, lime peel, salt and pepper in a gallon size sealable plastic bag; seal and squeeze bag to blend ingredients.

Score steak across top and place in plastic bag. Seal and turn to coat all sides. Refrigerate 6 to 8 hours, turning bag occasionally.

Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat source for 3 minutes per side for medium rare or continue to cook to desired doneness. Slice thinly on the diagonal. Serve with lime wedges.
