Official Feed the Town Brunswick Stew

Yield:
Makes 75 gallons, Serves 600

Ingredients:

  1. 210 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  2. 12 additional pounds white meat, ground
  3. 100 lbs. onions
  4. 100 lbs. potatoes
  5. 12 gallons tomatoes
  6. 18 gallons butter beans
  7. 26 ounces salt
  8. 4 ounces red pepper
  9. 8 ounces black pepper
  10. 12 gallons corn
  11. 1/2 lb. butter
Directions:

Start cooking ground white meat and chicken in pot, covered with water. Bring to a boil. Add onions and potatoes. Add crushed tomatoes and stir well constantly. Add butter beans and seasonings. Add corn after cooking about 6 hours. Let corn cook 30 minutes; add butter. Turn heat off and continue cooking until served.
